| Irish Jack Russells are very different from the Parsons Jack Russell and American bred Jack Russells. They are much calmer and much less aggressive. They do not have the hunting instincts that most people are used to seeing in most Jack Russells. Many people like the size & look of the Jack Russell, but not their aggressive & hyper personality. That is the great thing about the Irish Jack Russell, they do not possess those unwanted behaviors. But, don't expect them to be out in the barn hunting for rodents either, they think they are above that!! They just want to be in the house relaxing with you!! The other wonderful thing about them is they are LITTLE!! They average from 8 - 12 inches. They are just wonderful companions!! | Here is BRIDIE (means "Strength" in Celtic). She is imported from Ireland and is the calmest, sweetest Jack Russell around!! She is happiest sleeping in a bed, not hunting like most Jacks. No one believes me when I tell them that I have a calm Jack Russell until they meet Bridie. Irish Jacks are DIFFERENT!! She is only 10 inches. |
| Meet FRASIER. He is a gorgeous Irish Jack Russell. He came here from Celtic Jacks in NC. His parents were both imported from Ireland. He will be bred to Bridie in the future (when he's all grown up!) Frasier is co-owned by us & our friends the Marmoras. He lives with them in Richmond. All 9 inches of him is very spoiled! |
